Who won 50 Top Pizza USA 2026?

Una Pizza Napoletana, Anthony Mangieri's Neapolitan pizzeria on the Lower East Side. It has been No. 1 in the United States every year since 2022, which makes 2026 its fifth win in a row.

Ten more New York pizzerias made the ranked list, from Don Antonio at No. 7 to Pasquale Jones at No. 43. The list is called 50 but runs to 54 places, and New York State has 27 entries in the full guide. Time Out did not give a borough for each name, and neither do we unless we checked it on its own.

Una Pizza is a Neapolitan room: soft, blistered pies, made by hand, eaten with a knife and fork if you like. Plan it as a sit-down meal, not a slice stop. Time Out's three-star review from 2018 said its pies "rival Naples' best", and the panel has agreed every year since.

L'Industrie started at 254 South 2nd Street in Williamsburg and added a West Village shop at 104 Christopher Street. Time Out lists both as open daily from noon to 10 p.m. Its reviewer called the burrata slice ($5.75) the "clear winner" and waited about an hour on a Friday evening for it. Go at noon, on a weekday if you can, and order two.

The slice list is where Brooklyn shines. Of the seven New York slice places, three come from Brooklyn shops or kitchens, and they are all easy to fit into a walking day.

Which Brooklyn pizzerias are on the 2026 lists?

Ops in Bushwick at No. 21 among pizzerias, and three on the slice list: L'Industrie (No. 1, from Williamsburg), Brooklyn D.O.P. in Park Slope (No. 6) and Roberta's R Slice (No. 15).

• Ops, Bushwick: a sit-down pizzeria and the only Brooklyn name on the main 2026 list.
• Brooklyn D.O.P., 237 5th Avenue, Park Slope: counter service, slices and pies. Time Out's review priced the classic Giusepp' slice at $3.75 and the grandma at $4.50.
• L'Industrie, Williamsburg: the original shop, with the line to prove it.
• Roberta's: opened in 2008 in a cinderblock warehouse in Bushwick and now has branches in other cities. Its R Slice is the ranked entry.

Is Una Pizza Napoletana the best pizzeria in the world?

Not in 2026. In the world list announced in Naples in September, London's Napoli on the Road took No. 1 and Una Pizza Napoletana slipped to No. 2. New York still placed seven pizzerias in the world top 100, more than any other city.

Time Out New York reported the world ranking on 16 September. Napoli on the Road, Michele Pascarella's pizzeria with three London branches, climbed from fifth the year before. L'Industrie made the world list at No. 71, which is remarkable for a slice shop.

How do you plan a pizza day in Brooklyn around the rankings?

Start at L'Industrie in Williamsburg at noon, take a guided slice crawl or walk in the afternoon, and finish with dinner at Ops in Bushwick or a coal-oven pie in DUMBO.

Williamsburg is the easy base. The Williamsburg pizza crawl meets at Williamsburg Pizza, 265 Union Avenue, and works through four slices in four styles, from a gas-oven New York slice to a burrata slice; stops can change. The listing calls it two subway stops into Brooklyn from Manhattan, which makes a noon slice at L'Industrie and an afternoon crawl an easy pair.

Staying in Manhattan? The West Village pizza walk meets at John's of Bleecker St and visits three pizzerias. Georgia, in a 5-star review from Jul 2025, wrote: "we were happy to visit John's and L'Industrie - two popular spots with big lines usually." That is the ranked slice without the hour in line, though the guide picks the stops and they can change.
